Summary
Quiet Pages is built to work without collecting personal data. The app does not collect, store, transmit, or sell personal information.
Data the app collects
- None
Analytics / tracking
- None
- No third-party analytics SDKs
- No advertising identifiers
Data storage
All app data — your saved writing, optional grammar feedback you have explicitly requested, and your settings — is stored locally on your device.
Unsaved writing is intentionally ephemeral: drafts live only in memory and are never written to disk. If the app closes, crashes, or is force-quit, unsaved text is lost. This is a deliberate part of the app’s privacy model.
iOS may include this app’s local data in your device backup (iCloud or iTunes / Finder). Backup behaviour is controlled by iOS, not by Quiet Pages.
Network
- The app does not send your writing to any server unless you explicitly request grammar feedback.
- No background network features upload your data.
Grammar feedback
Grammar feedback is optional and explicitly user-initiated. It is requested only when you tap the grammar feedback button, and only the current text plus the language identifier are sent. No user identifier or writing history is attached. Each request is independent. If you do not request feedback, no text ever leaves your device.
Support email
If you contact support (for example via email), you will share whatever information you include in your message. This information is used only to respond to your request.
